What is your favorite memory of being part of UNCW’s Swimming & Diving program?
My favorite memory is sweeping the 400 IM at Conference with Silas and Sam my freshman year and then sweeping it again my senior year with William and Ian. A true full circle moment.
How has your experience as part of UNCW’s Swimming & Diving program impacted or influenced your life?
UNCW taught me many life lessons. I have a stronger mental fortitude thanks to being on the swim & dive team. Whenever I’m having a hard day at work, I realize that it’s not as hard as a JCHOP Long IM practice.
What have you been up to since your days on the UNCW pool deck? I have been traveling for work and playing Clash Royale.
Favorite stomping grounds from your time at UNCW? There is a creek by the Shore Dining hall where my friend John Martin and I would catch snakes, bull frogs, crawfish and more. So much wildlife on campus!
Favorite UNCW Swimming & Diving slogan or cheer? BTMFSD
Parting advice for current UNCW Swimmers and Divers and/or recent alumni?
Enjoy living on campus, it is the closest you’ll ever live to all your best friends.
